This is very similar to what we had in bb0b0822ef39d987952a04ae61fb8071. The xlocale.h header is no longer existing in glibc version 2.26, so we need to avoid including it. I've tested building against all of the libcxx attributes of LLVM 3.5, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 4 and 5. All of them succeeded except version 3.5, which failed because of an unrelated issue (build of libc++abi has failed, one of its dependencies), so I only verified whether the patch applies cleanly. Nixpkgs is a collection of packages for the Nix package manager. It is periodically built and tested by the hydra build daemon as so-called channels. To get channel information via git, add nixpkgs-channels as a remote:
% git remote add channels git://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs-channels.git
For stability and maximum binary package support, it is recommended to maintain
custom changes on top of one of the channels, e.g. nixos-17.09 for the latest
release and nixos-unstable for the latest successful build of master:
% git remote update channels
% git rebase channels/nixos-17.09
For pull-requests, please rebase onto nixpkgs master.
