tidied up pkgs/lib/debug.nix 

more consistent naming:
  debugVal -> traceVal
  debugXMLVal -> traceXMLVal

  whatis -> showVal
  traceWhatis -> traceShowVal
  traceMarked -> traceShowValMarked

removed some parenthesis
