XML error introduced with merge commit 4e0fea3fe294d112ac6eef5adbed2357. This was probably because of wrong conflict resolution, because the actual change (d8e697b4fcfd929d05221ac3e67b9c04ac69df86) had the close tag of the <para/> element, but the merge commit didn't. To build the manual, you need Nix installed on your system (no need
for NixOS). To install Nix, follow the instructions at
https://nixos.org/nix/download.html
When you have Nix on your system, in the root directory of the project
(i.e., `nixpkgs`), run:
nix-build nixos/release.nix -A manual.x86_64-linux
When this command successfully finishes, it will tell you where the
manual got generated.
