The full changelog with issue numbers can be found here: https://github.com/cython/cython/blob/0.25.2/CHANGES.rst My main reason for updating is because there were test failures on i686-linux, although version 0.25.2 still has one test that fails. So if we're on i686-linux and on Python 2 we just fix that one little doctest. The test failure has already been reported upstream at: https://github.com/cython/cython/issues/1548 All of the failing tests (including the latter) had to do with integer representations in that long integers are suffixed by an L while the test cases weren't expecting this. Nixpkgs is a collection of packages for the Nix package manager. It is periodically built and tested by the hydra build daemon as so-called channels. To get channel information via git, add nixpkgs-channels as a remote:
% git remote add channels git://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs-channels.git
For stability and maximum binary package support, it is recommended to maintain
custom changes on top of one of the channels, e.g. nixos-16.09 for the latest
release and nixos-unstable for the latest successful build of master:
% git remote update channels
% git rebase channels/nixos-16.09
For pull-requests, please rebase onto nixpkgs master.
