This virus takes up 2K at the upper end of system memory once it has
become memory resident.
The virus will swap some characters on printouts with phonemes (for
example, C vs. K), and transpose or substitute digits. Only printouts
are affected.
Typo Boot may be derived from Ping Pong, because the two have very
similar internal structures. It can be removed from a disk by using
MDisk, CleanUp, DOS SYS command, or just about any Ping Pong
disinfector.
