I.Ingredients:
|
||
|
||
Gasoline (four parts)
|
||
Candlewax (one part)
|
||
|
||
II.Procedure:
|
||
|
||
1) Melt the wax, and place in a
|
||
jar which has been set in a
|
||
hot water bath.
|
||
|
||
2) Slowly add the gasoline to
|
||
this mixture.
|
||
|
||
3) When the wax has completely
|
||
dissolved into the gasoline,
|
||
allow the solution to slowly
|
||
cool to room temperature.
|
||
|
||
III.Tips:
|
||
|
||
1) If the gell does not appear
|
||
then a lye solution may be
|
||
added to the original solute
|
||
by mixing equal amounts of
|
||
water and Sodium Hydroxide
|
||
to 50% by volume of the orig
|
||
solution.
|
||
|
||
IV.Caution:
|
||
|
||
Mix the lye and water very
|
||
slowly. And exercise extra
|
||
care when handleing any
|
||
explosives!
