|
|
The Orb was created in late 88/early 89 by Alex
|
|
Paterson of EG Records and WAU!MrModo, and
|
|
Jimmy Cauty from KLF Communications, after they
|
|
DJ'd several 'ambient' club nights together.
|
|
After two records, The Orb was temporarily
|
|
disbanded, aborting the release of their debut
|
|
album 'Space' on KLF Comunications, and a
|
|
planned triple album. Alex later resumed work
|
|
as The Orb, but this time with Thrash from
|
|
WAU!MrModo, while Jimmy continued working with
|
|
Bill Drummond as The KLF.
|
|
|
|
