 Introduction

     Out of the so many weapons you can make at home the Home-Brew
 Bazooka is the funnest to use and the most powerful.  The "missle"
 can travel up to 700 feet per second and result in a huge explosion
 to the other end of the bazooka.  Construction is very simple.
 That's why it is such a popular weapon.  It consists of batteries,
 pipe, and a model rocket.  That's it.  Well, enough talk,  here it
 is:


                        The Bazooka

 Materials:
 1. piece of aluminum tubing approximately 3 ft. long and 2 in.  in
    diameter.
 2. model rocket engine
 3. a nose cone
 4. a 3" by 9" cardboard sheet.
 5. about 4 feet of wire (overestimate)
 6. (2) Alligator Clips
 7. A "C" Battery holder, holding 4 batteries
 8. (4) "C" Batteries
 9. (1) Model rocket igniter
 10. Electrical Tape
 11. A improvised sight
 12. A switch from a battery operated toy gun or anything of the sort
 13. (2) Improvised handles
 14. (Optional) 1/4 pound Plastic Explosive or Black Powder

 All of these materials are intimidating but once you have all the
 stuff it is much easier.  It'll run you about $20 if you BUY all the
 stuff.  But most of it you can find around the house.

 Instructions:

 The Bazooka Itself:

 1) Extend the wire of the negative end of the battery holder and
    fasten an alligator clip to it.  On the positive end solder it to
    the OFF side of the switch.  Extend the other wire of the switch
    and fasten an alligator clip to it.  The wires should be long
    enough to have some room at the other end of the pipe.

 2) Using the electrical tape fasten the battery holder, switch and
    handles to the pipe.  Use your judgement for the spacing.
    Finally add the improvised sight.

 The Ammo:

 1) Cut 3 1/4" thick 9" long strips from the cardboard that slant at
   the end.

 2) Fasten these to the engine body using tape or glue.

 3) This part is if you want an explosion.  But be careful!  Fill the
    nose cone with Black Powder or Plastic explosive.  CAREFULLY bore
    or drill a hole through about 1/3 of the way through the engine.
    Extend a wick from the cone and fill the gaps with match heads.
    Now you have an explosive rocket.

  4) Now attach an igniter to the engine and to the alligator clip.
     Aim and Fire!  Have Fun.

 Conclusion:

 These rockets, when not explosive, go through car windows, 1/2"
 PlyWood, and sometimes people.  But if they are explosive you could
 blow a car to kingdom come from about 1000 feet away.  Pretty cool.
 Its got possibilities.
